What do you do with something that is broken? Do you throw it away, give it away or work with the broken pieces? In this year I have seen so much brokenness and at times, I have felt broken myself. It can be so easy to just be done with something. It is easy to walk away or give it to the trash. Whether a job, relationship, goal. Brokenness has a deep affect and if not addressed, a lasting impact. Navigating through and out of that space can be difficult. Especially when you lose hope.
Christ tells us that he is near to the broken hearted.
Why is this relevant. Because often when you are in a place of brokenness, it is a place of solitude and loneliness.
Today, I hope you know that you are not alone.
I hope you find the glue to put the pieces back together. Don’t throw them away. There is so much beauty that can come out of this new masterpiece. I hope that you know that on the journey, there are broken roads. This does not stop you from getting to your destination.
In this journey, find new ways to travel. New routes to take. The pieces may be broken but you don't have to be!
